You know they’re growing up when..

When they don’t need naps anymore!  While I sit here and type my almost 2.5 year old is crying and screaming at his door for his mommy. Why? because he’s not tired enough to go to sleep even though it is 10pm! This is how I know it is time to graduate from naps! This makes me sad, for a couple reasons, first reason because he is getting older and bigger, and no longer does his little body need the extra rest! And of course second because there goes two hours of mommy time during the day! I always hoped that nap time wouldn’t end until I had my next child, but since we don’t even know when that will be, I guess I was hoping for too much.

Maybe this is why so many moms have 2 under 2, so that they can nap during pregnancy while their first child is sleeping…smart!

Anyhow life continues on, and I am sure I will survive with an extra two hours of entertaining my little ball of energy*especially when it means he will go to bed earlier*
